Once upon a time,
there was a place everyone longed to visit.
A cheerful carousel whirled round and round,
a Ferris wheel gleamed in the sunlight,
and a fresh floral scent floated among the blooms.
The master entrusted this wondrous park to his servant,
who took on the responsibility with great confidence.
However, as rust crept onto the tracks
and the carousel’s pillars began to rot,
pride and fear kept the servant
from telling the master the truth.
Instead, he hid the rust under bright paint
and draped grand curtains over the cracks,
believing he could conceal the decay.
But these disguises did nothing to truly mend the park;
they only made the situation worse.
Finally,
the Ferris wheel collapsed,
the carousel ground to a halt,
the flowers withered,
and all the lights went dark.
The servant stood among the wreckage,
filled with regret at the sight of the devastation.
Lowering his head at last,
he admitted his mistakes
and pleaded for the master’s forgiveness and help.
The master arrived without blame or reproach.
Taking up his tools,
he began the restoration himself:
scraping away the rust,
clearing out the dirt,
and repairing every damaged piece.
With patience and love,
he slowly brought the park back to its former glory.
When the final light shone again
and that long-forgotten freshness returned to the air,
the flowers blossomed once more.
The Ferris wheel and carousel stood renewed,
even more beautiful than before.
Tears filled the servant’s eyes
as he looked upon this radiant park.
He had finally learned
that covering up decay only leads to further ruin.
Only by honestly facing problems
and placing them into capable, loving hands
can the park
—and any cherished creation—
be truly reborn.
